Family Baby Shower

Last Saturday, May 14th, Sarah hosted such a nice baby shower for us. It was truly a joint effort between Sarah and my Mom and it turned out just great! Thank you to both for making our shower so special! We would have liked to have had more time to spend in St. Louis to see more family and friends but we were happy to see everyone we did and hope to see everyone else very soon. Now for the pictures. Notice all of the decorations in the background. It was made quite clear we're having a boy. :)


Here's a family pic before guests started arriving. Pretty soon there will be seven of us. :)


Then the games started! In this one Drew and I had to go belly to belly and everyone had to guess how many squares of toilet paper it would take to go around us. My Dad ended up guessing it exactly! It was funny because on his sheet he had done some math... not sure how you apply an equation to this belly but it worked!


Here's the hostess getting set up for the next game. Three teams had to race to undiaper, wipe, powder and diaper the baby. The team who got through all of their players the fastest won.


Who knew everyone would get so into it but diapers were flying! I of course used this as an opportunity to check out Drew's diaper changing skills and I must say... not bad for the soon-to-be Dad!


Thank you to everyone for coming! It was great to see our family and celebrate the fast-approaching arrival of Baby Harris. I'm 31 weeks tomorrow so about 9 weeks left. Wow!
