Playing Tourists

This weekend Drew and I took in all of the sites just as if we were tourists! We visited the area we are interested in living in on Friday which is called Richmond Hill. It's a cute small town in between base and Savannah. We found a fun bar that is just our style on Friday. It had live music, cold beer, and good food. What more could you ask for? :) On Saturday we went to Tybee Island which is the beach. It was so fun! We laid out, swam in the ocean, had a picnic and walked the beach. It was perfect. On the way home we went to Savannah and tried a few of the restaurants just having an appetizer at each. We even saw a dolphin! Today we went to Fort McCallister where we hiked through the marsh and found a small town marina. We are having the best time hanging out and exploring our new town. Tomorrow I have an appointment with the realtor to view the house we want. I quickly learned that realtors do not work weekends or after 5. It was kind of shocking but the South is definitely laid back! I will keep you posted on how the house hunting goes. We are hoping to have something rented as soon as tomorrow or within the beginning of this week. As we see these different spots we keep saying how exciting it will be for our family and friends to come visit. The door is always open!!
