Aunt Sarah & Uncle Wade

We are getting spoiled with all of these great family visits! Last Thursday night Aunt Sarah and Uncle Wade arrived. As I mentioned before, this was Sarah's second visit but this was Wade's first time meeting Cole. We had a blast. Drew and I always say how nice it is when Sarah is in town because she wants to do everything. She even loves changing dirty diapers! Such a big help and the best part is she loves doing it. We had a rough idea of what we wanted to do for the weekend but ended up doing completely different things. We went to two different parks and numerous restaurants/bars and had a great time. Such a great visit!!
Friday night we put Cole in his new green monster outfit from Sar and Wade... little did we know he would take it to heart and transform into a little monster. Friday night he was really fussy but we were able to get in a fun restaurant experience before we decided to head home at 7:30pm. We've learned to be flexible! Poor little guy was just tired and fell asleep as soon as we got in the car but I still think the outfit was a bad omen. :) Fortunately he is normally a happy baby so when he is fussy it stands out in my mind. Wade thought it was neat how Cole will sit and watch baseball or football with us. So cute.
Here's the monster outfit.

So happy they were here!

Happy to be at the park Saturday morning.

Drew had been wanting to go to this bar for awhile so we stopped by after the park. Drew and Wade love trying new beers.

Saturday night we took them to our favorite restaurant- Marker 107. It's off the beaten path near our house on the river. Love it!

They loved it as much as we do.

Sunday it was back down to Savannah.

And the biggest news of all: On Saturday Cole rolled over for the first time! He has been trying to ever since he was born and when he finally did he made it look easy. It was perfect timing too because we were all in the family room staring at him. He must have been waiting for the perfect audience.
Now back to reality but we'll of course always look forward to the next visit.
