We have also made some headway on the nursery. I've read different views where some say to get the nursery done in the second trimester when you are feeling good, others say wait until the third trimester because you don't want to have an empty nursery for months... who knows what's right!? Drew and I found the furniture set we wanted and knew the bedding we wanted if it was going to be a boy so we went for it! We bought the paint which is called 'beach grass' and painted the nursery this week. Drew is putting on the second coat tonight. It looks great! It just so happens that our furniture set went on sale this week too so we ordered it today. My parents are coming at the end of this month and we want to get the main staples set up so they can see it and partake in some 'baby' things. I also have trips planned for the next three months so might as well get the big things done. Not to mention we are entering prime beach time and we want to get out and enjoy the weather when it's nice. So by next week we'll have the bedding, paint and nursery furniture taken care of. We might wait for my parents to get here so my Dad can help Drew set up the furniture like a Dad and Grandpa should! ;) It's becoming very real! I got choked up watching Drew paint because I am starting to realize Drew is going to be a dad! Forget me and the mom part, the Drew being a dad part hit me. Go figure!
In other non-baby news, Drew has continued to put in 12-14 hour workdays but continues to like the training. Here's a picture of him out in the field. He's the one in the middle.

This weekend we are looking forward to a visit from my friend Susan. (I lived in Susan's condo when I lived in Atlanta while Drew was in training at Fort Benning.) It will be great to see her. Savannah is already turning green in preparation for St. Patrick's day. Should be a fun weekend!
