Happy New Year 2017!

We enjoyed a quiet NYE at the ranch with   Grannie Annie and Papa filled with fun to enjoy the nice weather. Horseback riding, shooting guns, bonfire, a tasty shrimp boil...although the boys' favorite part was scooping horse poop in the barn! 

Day After Christmas Visit

December 26th, Finn and I headed back to Harris' to see Leanna and Tez and meet baby Mathis who were in from AZ. He is so cute!! Drew and Cole were able to sneak in one last hunt at the ranch before duck season closed. No ducks but fun memories for the two of them!

Christmas Day Presents with Harris Fam

Christmas Day we got back from Chicago and swung by Harris' to open presents. Emry and Sam came in from Springfield that afternoon too. It's always fun having the little cousins together!

Chicago Christmas

Steph and Jeff had been wanting us to come for a visit and it just so happened he was off for a few days, so we went for Christmas! Jeff and Drew snuck in a pheasant hunt, Steph and I took the boys on the train to Jeff's police station then neighboring fire station where they even got to use the jaws of life to crush cans. We went sledding while ice fishing where Cole caught a bass. We enjoyed Christmas Eve with their family with baby Grady and his cousin Giada as the highlights on their first Christmas. Then Santa came Christmas morning before we headed back to STL. Such a nice visit filled with great memories!
