Cole's First Doe

12/21/16 Drew took Cole on his first deer hunting trip. The best part was that Drew was purely excited just to take him out to the ground blind at the "close Brophy Ranch" so we were elated when they actually got the doe Drew had been wanting for good meat! Hunting is one thing but the memories and time spent together is priceless.

The weekend of 12/16/17 we celebrated our family Christmas at the ranch...Maya's first!! There is no better gift than good family time!

Harris Cousin Visit and Boathouse with Santa

Emry and Sam came to see the new house which we also used as an opportunity for Christmas and outing fun. Sat, 12/3 we went to the zoo in the morning with Ryan and Joanna Lane who just announced they are expecting! Sat night Gigi and Pop joined us for dinner at our house. Sun we were then off to see Santa at the Boathouse. Aunt Carleen and Mark are so generous to let the boys, and Emry for the first time this year, ride in the boat to go get Santa and bring him to the festivities. The boys were on news channel five with the story. Cole even drew Santa pictures and took the time to show him. Truly a magical time and pure joy to experience Christmas through their eyes. Love them!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Grannie Annie hosted Thanksgiving at the Brophy Ranch for all of the Cordeal side. We used the boys' artwork as centerpieces. Really a nice holiday and visit!! We then spent the rest of the weekend in town with Sar and Wade, and baby Maya of course!

BBD Nov 2016

While there was tons of deer sign at the far ranch, we decided to head back to the close ranch to bow hunt which is allowed during rifle season. Good choice because Drew made a perfect shot at this big boy!! Biggest mass yet! The boys were SO excited. We are so blessed to have multiple hunting opportunities and, more importantly, amazing family with whom to enjoy it!!
