Mabel Harris and a Happy Thanksgiving!

After much soul searching we decided to "go big or go home!". On Thanksgiving day, 11/27/14, we met and took home Mabel from Cahokia, IL. She is a pure bred bullmastiff so should be 100+ pounds. She was born at the end of July so is 4 months old and 36lbs. In the short 24 hours that we've had her she has been a pure joy!!! And the vet said she looks great! So thankful that our hearts are now full!

New Family Christmas Tradition

We found a new Christmas tradition that I would love to do every year! Tilles Park allows families to walk through the lights for three nights before opening the official season for cars. Good trucks come and you can get wine, beer and hot chocolate. So fun!! This past Sunday, 11/23/14, it was in the upper 50s and rained all day but we just brought the umbrellas! Can't wait to grow this tradition in the coming years!! And I need to figure out how to take pics in front of Christmas lights that actually turn out. :) The night before we also went to the Eureka tree lighting. Once again rain but still so cute and fun!

Family Pics during Rough November

We've had a rough month with Wade's Dad, Phil being diagnosed with stage four cancer, Dad having kidney stones after cataract surgery, Gram Harris falling and breaking her hip, tons of sickness between the stomach flu and strep, and ultimately losing our loved chocolate lab, Moose Saturday, 11/15/14, at 11 months old after being in and out of the vet all week. However, we find strength in our family and focusing on the positive, especially our absolutely adorable boys. Pics from the past couple of weeks:

Last Soccer Game and Ranch Fun

Nov 2nd was Cole's last soccer game of the season so both grandparents came out to watch. Cole definitely hustles and most importantly has fun!! Proud of him.

Drew and I also made it out on a quick "date" horseback ride at the ranch.

Last but not least, double bath fun!
