Reeling in Cole's 2nd Birthday

Last week we celebrated Cole's second birthday! On Tuesday we went and picked out his new Huffy bike which he loves. We then headed to Montauk Wednesday night and spent all day Thursday (his birthday) fishing and playing at the river. It was absolutely gorgeous weather for July, 75 and sunny with no humidity. We had a blast! We then headed to the ranch Fri for more fun with the family. Wade had to work but both grandparents, Sar, Pete and Ashley were there. We spent the day on the boat and later fishing at our lake. Such a nice and relaxing birthday, especially since I am 8 1/2 months pregnant! On Monday we took Cole to his 2 year well baby appointment. He was 34 1/2 inches tall and 28 lbs 8 oz which puts him in the 60th percentile for ht and wt which is following along his growth chart curve perfectly. So blessed to have a healthy boy! Looking forward to seeing him as a big brother very soon. :)

4th of July and My Birthday

This past weekend we celebrated 4th of July and my birthday at the ranch. Wade had to work but Sarah was able to come Thursday through Saturday. Steph was also able to make it for a fun boat day on Thursday. We took Cole to the rodeo at the Mark Twain dam on Friday night but he wasn't so sure of the loud noises and guys being thrown off bucking broncs and jumping on calves to rope them. He even cried about a cowboy losing his hat and is still talking about it. Poor little guy didn't understand but there is always next time! Cole was also very helpful in making my birthday cupcakes. :) Great weekend all around.

Riding Horses with the Benoist's

On Monday, we met the Benoist's at the Brophy Ranch to ride horses. This was Josie and Natalie's first time riding and it was absolutely adorable. The kids had a blast!

Fun With Daddy

Cole loves his daddy! They have been having fun lately staying home together then we are out doing fun things on the weekends too. Never a dull moment with an 'almost' two year old!
