Mardi Gras on Tybee

On Saturday, February 9th, we headed to Tybee to check out their Mardi Gras celebration. They have a family friendly parade and street party by the pier. We just missed the parade because Cole was still napping but we saw plenty of Mardi Gras fun. Between Cole in his cowboy hat and Walter in puppy mode, everyone had to comment on their cuteness. Cole's favorite part was playing on the beach. The past few times he had been a bit unsure of the sand and what to do but he is now an expert. He was running up and down the dunes, climbing on all fours like a sea turtle/monkey, rolling around, then brushing off the sand to prepare for the next adventure. We hope he doesn't expect this big of a sand box in Missouri!

Jacksonville Zoo

On Saturday, February 2nd we took Cole to the Jacksonville Zoo. He has now been to the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Jacksonville Zoo. He has loved all of them! We also had a great time. It had all of the main components but it also had water access where people pulled up by boat. Fun trip!

Home for the Holidays

This year we were literally in our HOME for the holidays. We were able to spend nearly a month at home which was fantastic. Drew hadn't seen the house since we did a walk through before we bought it over a year ago. He was more than impressed with the updates we had made. I'm behind in posting this so think I'll just do a picture story. LOTS of family, friends, and good laughs!

Don't worry, it was an ugly Christmas sweater party. We don't normally look this good!
